1. Overview

HalalGaming(“we”, “us”) operates the CS2 1v1 arena server and the website at halalgaming.net. This policy explains what data we collect and why. We collect only what we need to run the ladder, deliver perks, and process payments.

2. Information we collect

Gameplay & account data

• Your Steam ID and public Steam profile name and avatar.
• Gameplay statistics — wins, losses, kills, deaths, rank, XP, and match history.
• Your Discord username, if you contact us or link your account for support.
• Which membership and perks are active on your account.

Payment data

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as our Merchant of Record. The provider collects your billing details (name, email, address, and payment method) and processes the transaction. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive a confirmation of purchase, the product bought, and the email/identifier needed to grant your perks.

Technical data

Like most websites, our hosting may log basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operation. We use minimal cookies necessary for the site to function.

3. How we use your information

• To run the ladder and display leaderboards, ranks, and match history.
• To deliver and apply the perks you purchase to your in-game account.
• To process payments, receipts, and refunds (via our payment provider).
• To provide support and enforce our server rules.
• To keep the service secure and prevent cheating and abuse.

Public gameplay stats (name, avatar, rank, win/loss) are shown on our public leaderboards by nature of the service.

4. Service providers we share with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:

• Our payment provider — payment processing and Merchant of Record.
• Supabase — database hosting for ladder and player data.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Steam (Valve) — to identify players and read public profile data.
• Discord — community and support.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep gameplay and account data for as long as your account is active on the server. Payment records are retained by our payment provider and by us as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account data (see below).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at support@halalgaming.net. For payment data held by our payment provider, you can also contact them directly via their buyer support.

7. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
